Message from Frank:

Hi, and welcome to our website!  I’m Frank the Frog, a kindhearted friend, a dedicated confidant, and magnificent travel partner. As you can see from my picture, I need three suitcases to hold all my necessities.  😉

Here’s a little background for you:

Jane and I met years ago in Austin, Texas, when I was sitting on a shelf, waiting to be given a job. She took me to San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Placencia, Belize so I could help her teach music. Then, we went for a two-year stint in Paraguay, serving in the Peace Corps. We returned to the United States in May, 2015 and moved from Texas to Charleston, South Carolina where her grown children and their families live. Her son, David, his bride, Haddie, and their son, little Henry Brown, live nearby. Also, Jane’s daughter and her family – Bess, husband Lee, and little ones: Vivienne, Charles, Jane, and David, live on the water and just down the street, so as a frog, I’m in heaven as I enjoy sitting on the dock and watching the dolphins catch fish.

I love my position as Editor-in-Chief of Frankly Jane. While I’m traveling the world, Jane and I like to correspond.

I hope you’ll visit our website often.  We’ll keep you abreast of the latest as Jane and I enjoy the adventures awaiting us.

Message from Jane:

Welcome to FranklyJane, a blog which contains posts of the day-to-day adventures of life in my hometown of Charleston, as well as other places. Most recently, I’ve been keeping friends and family in the loop regarding Casa Alfaro and its remodelación. However, this blog began in 2013, so you’ll also find posts of my experiences had while in Honduras, Belize, and Paraguay.

I hope you enjoy my stories and photos.
Jane
